The lovely, hammond organ heavy, soundtrack to Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 masterpiece Contempt (AKA Il Disprezzo and Le Mépris) starring Brigitte Bardot, Michel Piccoli and Jack Palance. This is the soundtrack to the Italian release of the movie. The French (and worldwide?) release was scored by Georges Delerue. Loads of hammond organ, waltzy rhythms, flutes and a bit jazzy in places – nice stuff from Piccioni.
